Xabier Díaz and Adufeiras de Salitre, at the concert of the XXXI Camariñas Lace Festival

It will be on Saturday, April 16 at 10:00 PM in the Market Square and, in the afternoon, the tambourine player will give a preview on the Mostra catwalk. It will be the first outdoor concert of the year for Xabier Díaz, who will perform songs from the album 'As catedrais silenciadas'.

The renowned Galician tambourine player Xabier Díaz and Adufeiras de Salitre will be the protagonists of the XXXI Mostra do Encaixe de Camariñas Diputación concert, which will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 10:00 p.m. in the town's Market Square.

The artist was today at the Museo do Encaixe with the mayor, Sandra Insua, the councilor of Do Encaixe, Encarna Liñeiro, and councilors Sergio Caamaño and Begoña Tajes to formalize this new date in their agenda. There, the councilor announced that, before the evening concert, Xabier will give a small preview of his repertoire on the catwalk of the XXXI Mostra do Encaixe.

This will be the first outdoor performance of this year 2022 for Xabier Díaz, who continues with the tour to present 'As Catedrais silenciadas' (Músicas de Salitre 2020), the third and most recent work with the Adufeiras de Salitre, an album that reflects on depopulation, the abandonment of the rural area and the risk of losing our own identity and culture in a society like Galicia.
