The XXVIII New Designers Competition is heating up

The list of memoirs selected to participate in the XXVIII New Designers Competition of the Camariñas Lace Fair of the Provincial Council of A Coruña is made public. The event will take place from 13 to 17 April 2022, during the celebration of the XXXI Camariñas Lace Fair.

The City Council of Camariñas made public today, December 16, the list of memoirs selected to participate in the XXVIII New Designers Competition, which will be held from April 13 to 17, 2022, during the XXXI Camariñas Lace Fair.

The jury selected from the total memories, those of the following designers: José Daniel Teriffe, Egoitz Ruíz, Candela Mondelo and Natalia María González, Pablo Buendía and Jacobo Martí, Uxía Rodríguez, Andrea Piñeiro, Josu Santos, Álvaro Castillo, Enrique Sánchez, Nahomi Jiménez and Raquel Marina Blanco, Enrique Llera, Cantia Aparicio, Joaquín Ruíz, Vanessa Parente and Beatriz Chan, Sofía Sánchez, Llucía Miravalles, Alicia Rocamora, Orlinda Armandina Anchundia and Luigi Maldera, Bimba González and Pablo González.

The origins of the new designers are very diverse, as they will come from Asturias, Alicante, Guipúzcoa, Pontevedra, Zaragoza, A Coruña, Cantabria, Zaragoza, Murcia or Madrid. They have trained in the best schools at a national level.

From the Mostra they want to “congratulate each and every member of this final selection, some of whom are already old acquaintances of this event, and who contribute with their effort to surpass an already high level in previous competitions”, they comment. “The jury is going to have a very difficult time again this year”, they admit.
