Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 5, the thirty-second edition of the Camariñas Lace Fair of the Provincial Council of A Coruña will begin, which will feature, until Sunday, April 9, more parades than ever: with 13 Great Designers, some already consolidated and other novelties, 40 New Designers, 11 Artencaixe artisans, the new ReEncaixando parade, the International Delegations, the PequEncaixe, the Senior Lacemakers...
The official inauguration will be tomorrow, Wednesday, April 5, starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Mostra do Encaixe pavilion. The mayor of Camariñas, Sandra Insua; the president of the Provincial Council of A Coruña, Valentín González Formoso; the deputy delegate of the Government, María Rivas; and the delegate of the Xunta de Galicia in A Coruña, Gonzalo Trenor, will speak.
The opening of the thirty-second edition of the Mostra will take place earlier, at 3 p.m., at which time the traditional meeting of lacemakers and lacemakers from the Costa da Morte will begin, in which students from municipal nursery schools will also participate.
After the institutional inauguration, at 6:00 p.m. the parade will be held. PequeEncaixand, to later give way to the parade of Great Designers 'A' and 'B', which will be preceded by the premiere of the 'Cancións Dance Camariñas', an initiative that will be a surprise for all those attending.
The cost will be two euros for the pass to the venue, and two euros for each parade. A pass for entry to the venue and one parade can be purchased per three euros and a voucher for entry to the venue every day plus one parade per day for twelve euros.
