Designer Esteban Freiría will be Spanish ambassador at a competition in Manila with one of the pieces presented at the XXXI Mostra

He will do so in the MDM Philippines competition with one of the 'bullfighter' costumes with Picasso-like details that was the designer's collection at the XXXI Camariñas Lace Exhibition

The designer from Vigo based in Marbella, Esteban Freiría, will be the Spanish ambassador at the MDM competition in Manila with one of the four pieces presented at the XXXI Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña.

He will do so in the MDM Philippines contest with one of the 'torero' costumes with Picasso-like details that he paraded on the local catwalk this edition, from his 'Óleo y arena' collection, with red, yellow, green or black colors, with lace painted in oil, watercolor or 'plumilla', playing with volumes and colors. It is being celebrated this week.

“For me it is an honor to represent Spain with such a special collection, and which we already enjoyed last April in Camariñas. Placing Encaje in a paradise like the Philippines is a milestone that I will always remember”, says Freiría, who goes on to say that “we are preparing for next April”, since he is working “on a collection that will not leave anyone indifferent”.
