The XXX New Designers Contest begins with thirty-five promising fashion designers

Today, groups 'A' and 'B' of the competition paraded down the catwalk of the XXXIII Mostra do Encaixe. In total, there are 30 finalist collections, with boys and girls belonging to schools from different parts of Galicia and Spain.

Today, Thursday, March 28, the 35 finalists participating in the XXX New Designers Competition took to the catwalk for the first time at this XXXIII Camariñas Lace Show, Provincial Council of A Coruña.

A total of 30 collections by the designers paraded on the catwalk: Ada Martínez Martín (Valencia), Adriana Pérez Sanjurjo (Cambre, A Coruña), Ainhoa Salinero Miño (Alcorcón, Madrid), Alejandra Góas López (O Valadouro, Lugo), Alejandra Olivares Niger (Puerto Lumbreras, Murcia), Alejandra Pino Bravo (Loeches, Madrid), Alexia Álvarez García (Laviana, Asturias), Asier Ferrer Samonete (Gallipienzo Nuevo, Navarre), Cesar Tiscar Fernández (Genovés, Valencia) Bishop, Ourense), Laura Araujo Martínez (As Neves, Pontevedra), Laura Villar Loureiro (Guitiriz, Lugo), Lucía Janeiro González (Forcarei, Pontevedra), Malena Monteserin Feliz (Tineo, Asturias), María Moreno González (Mancha Real, Jaén), Marina Pastor Olivares (Granada), Miriam de Río Bouzas (Miño, A Coruña), Noelia Picadizo Villar (Rois, A Coruña), Paula Fernández Molina (Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real), Rafaela Hernández Pérez (Huelva), Sheila Lojo Oliveira (Cambre, A Coruña), Sophía Hecht Suarez (Salinas, Asturias), Tania Conde Farroco (Lalín, Pontevedra), Uxía Loureiro Caamaño (Ponteareas, Pontevedra), Verónica Marí Granda (Lugo).

Most of them belong to the following schools: AESD Valencia, AESD Valdelomar Granada, EASD Mestre Mateo de Santiago de Compostela, EMAO de Vigo, Escuela Goymar A Coruña, IES Santa Engracia Madrid, Escuela Javier Barroeta de Bilbao, IES Silvera Font de Valencia, Estación Diseño Granada and ESNE Asturias. 

Awards

The main objective of the competition is to encourage and promote the application of Camariñas lace in fashion, with three prizes awarded to the best collections based on the evaluation of the official jury. In this edition, the category of the most commercial collection is repeated again.

The first prize will consist of 2,1000 euros, the second of 1,200 euros, and both the third and the prize for the most commercial collection will have a financial award of 600 euros each.

On Sunday, March 31, the jury's verdict will be announced.
