The Camariñas Lace Exhibition sees the Provincial Council's commitment reinforced

The Camariñas Lace Exhibition sees the commitment of the A Coruña Provincial Council reinforced, which, aware of the importance of the event and the international projection it is having year after year, has decided to increase its support for the event, which this year will celebrate its thirtieth edition from April 8 to 12.

Thus, both the City Council of Camariñas and the Provincial Council of A Coruña have reached a new agreement to increase the presence of the provincial entity in the event, which it already strongly supported year after year. The most important action in this new scenario will be the change of name of the Mostra, which will officially be called Mostra do Encaixe de Camariñas Provincial Council of A Coruña, thus incorporating as a surname the administration presided over by Valentín González Formoso.

Furthermore, in this edition the Provincial Council will be present in the official image (posters, video, stands, t-shirts, etc.) of the Camariñas Lace Exhibition at the same level as the City Council. On the other hand, it will also sponsor the first prize of the XXVII New Designers Competition.

With this agreement, the City Council of Camariñas obtains new support on its path to increasing the projection, both national and international, of the Mostra, and also to obtain the declaration as a festival of national tourist interest.
