The main novelties of the XXXIII Camariñas Lace Fair of the Provincial Council of A Coruña are the new 'ReEncaixame' fashion show and the 'Gourmet entre Encaixes' gastronomic space, two proposals to continue diversifying the event.
Today was the first time that the designers participating in 'ReEncaixame' walked the catwalk: Eli Conde, Yolanda Román, Luz Prado. All of them participated in one of the editions of the New Designers competition and now they are returning to the Mostra to show off their collections.
This fashion show is a clear commitment to sustainability in craftsmanship and fashion. The aim is to encourage designers to reinterpret an outdated collection by reusing both fabrics and lace from Camariñas. They must show how they reinterpret and transform garments into a new collection with a focus on reusing materials and reducing waste. People who, whether or not they are fashion professionals, have participated in the Young Designers Competition of the Camariñas Lace Show of the Provincial Council of A Coruña in any of its 29 editions participate.
On the other hand, the 'Gourmet between laces' is a new concept of space dedicated to the food sector in which 13 stalls and food trucks for the sale to the public of quality gourmet products: CienPorCel, K Dulce, Ibéricos de Salamanca, Pimentón La Ristra, Biconeta, Frigoríficos Canosa, Stolt Sea Farm, Bico de Gelato, Quesos Autor, Martietas de Fío, Pura Locura, Habelas Hailas and Strawberry Jams.
