The Palilleira Festival turns a decade old and will celebrate its 10th edition on December 6th 

The Palilleira Festival celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2024, with the date chosen for this special celebration being December 6 in the municipal pavilion Víctor Vigo de Camariñas. 

Organized by the Camariñas City Council, the Puntillas Association, the Rendas Association and the Camariñas Lace Show of the A Coruña Provincial Council, there will be raffles, a Christmas market and free hot chocolate in the afternoon. There will also be inflatables for the little ones and local businesses will have their own sales area.

This event usually attracts talent from the palillo not only from Galicia, but also from the rest of Spain. In the last edition, more than 450 palillo players from Galicia and different places such as Soria or Asturias enjoyed an event in which the protagonists are the sound of the palillos, the reunions and the encouragement to continue a tradition of “ten” on the Galician cultural agenda.
