Camariñas lace will dress the pieces of 'Filomena', the new exhibition by Rocío Utray

The exhibition includes the logs that the hurricane left behind in Pozuelo de Alarcón. The Lace Museum will host the inauguration next Monday, July 19 at 12:00. Interested people will be able to visit it until August 16.

Converting hurricane damage into art seems difficult, but that is what Rocío Utray, the author of the exhibition 'Filomena', which will be inaugurated on Monday at the Museo do Encaixe, intends to do. Camariñas lace will be very present in this exhibition, and will dress the logs that Hurricane Filomena left behind in Pozuelo de Alarcón.

Utray's work will be unveiled next Monday, July 19, at 12:00 p.m. People interested in visiting it will be able to visit until August 16 during public hours (from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).

The inaugural event will be attended by the mayor, Sandra Insua, the councilor for the Mostra, Encarna Liñeiro, and the councilor for Equality, Begoña Tajes, in addition to the curator of 'Filomena' herself.
