Lace, as an ancient craft, knows no borders. This was demonstrated at the XXXIV Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña in the parade of the 'International Lacemakers Delegations' who displayed their creations on the catwalk.

Participants: Argentina (Buenos Aires), Bulgaria (Sofia), Hungary (Kiskunhalas), Italy (Novedrate and Trapani), Portugal (Peniche and Serra D'El Rei), Poland (Bobowa) and Spain (Arenis del Mar).

The volunteers of the Mostra do Encaixe are in charge of showing off their creations on the catwalk. Taking advantage of the parade, they also received a gift from the City Council in recognition of their altruistic work.
