Esteban Freiría and Ana Cabranes confirm their attendance at the catwalks of the XXX Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña. The first, in signatures, and the second, in the ArtEncaixe section, will show their latest creations from October 8 to 12 in the municipality of Camariña.
'Candean City' will be the collection presented by Esteban Freiría, inspired by the westerns that the designer envisioned when he was young, with compositions for "living life" and six designs in which he mixes Camariñas lace, crochet made by himself and textile painting. For some of the pieces, Freiría recovered lace from those used in the first editions of the Mostra. He will also exhibit goldsmith pieces designed by his niece, Ana Freiría.
The designer from Vigo, based in Marbella, had already created a collection of masks against COVID-19 a few months ago with Encaixe de Camariñas, and he is "very excited to present a collection that will be remembered by those in attendance. I promised I would make it and that's what it will be."
The Asturian designer will also repeat the competition, like Freiría, and has already “lost count of the times she attended Camariñas with her collections”, in a “very special event and in which I will be able to be in the ArtEncaixe section for the first time”, points out the Asturian, who is “very happy to be part of the thirty-sixth Mostra, which will go down in history”.
