The designer from Compostela, Edith del Valle, will be among the major brands at the XXX Lace Exhibition

She will present a collection “in which the common thread will be the enhancement of all the parts that make up the personality of each individual.” Under the name Made of Pieces, Edith del Valle will give her designs a holistic vision of life.

The designer from Compostela, Edith del Valle, will make up the list of major brands for the XXX Mostra do Encaixe Diputación de A Coruña, which will be held from October 8 to 12, 2021.

It will be the third participation in the Camariñan event with a collection "in which the common thread will be the enhancement of all the parts that make up the personality of each individual."

Under the name Made of Pieces, Edith del Valle has given her designs a holistic vision of life, since she herself only understands “full satisfaction when you can embrace all parts of your person,” she admits.

“Being able to convey an emotion through the physical is very complex,” adds the designer, who emphasizes the complexity of “thinking about a collection during confinement.”

“Since we didn't know if there was going to be an in-person part of the parade, it was very difficult to convey emotions through a screen, but as soon as we found out that we would be on the Camariñas catwalk, everything was easier,” he adds.

The designer from Santiago de Compostela continues her idyll with Camariñas, at a time when “betting on Lace in particular and on craftsmanship in general is very fundamental”, she points out, “in a digital enclave, we cannot stop believing and supporting more than ever a way of understanding life like the one that inhabits each of the pieces made with chopsticks”.
