Galician designer Esteban Freiría designs sanitary masks with Camariñas lace. The artist from Vigo, based in Marbella, materialized his creations based on two main ideas: bridal fashion, made with flesh-colored elastic fabric, with embroidered lace and 'edged' with Camariñas lace, and brass floral motifs with the signature of Ana Freiría, his niece.
The second model, based on ethnicity, is made of denim fabric and adorned with lace and wooden beads. All models have an interior pocket to insert the TNT filter. The latter, in addition, is already sold to Galician customers.
It is worth noting that the models are all personalized, created individually so that "no one repeats a model," indicates the designer.
“This arose from the need to get to work. I live in a place where I work a lot for events, parties, hotels... and you have to adapt. From the first day, many people called me and I decided to make medical masks. I got in touch with people from the health sector who told me the best way to carry out these jobs,” says the designer.
