More confirmations for the Great Designers' parade of the XXXIV Camariñas Lace Fair of the Provincial Council of A Coruña. Once again, the Granada designer, Claudina Mata, and the Asturian designer, Ana Cabranes, return to the Camariñas catwalk, the fashion capital during Easter.
Claudina Mata will bring to Camariñas "a bridal capsule collection in which lace and transparencies will be the main protagonists. Delicate pieces, with a very ethereal and contemporary approach, where the lightness of the fabrics and the subtlety of the lace merge to create clean, elegant silhouettes with a lot of handmade soul".
"Participating one more year in the Mostra is an honor and a great responsibility, it is to reinterpret an art as ancient as Camariñas lace from a contemporary perspective, without losing its essence. It is a challenge but, above all, a creative engine", adds the Granada designer.

For her part, Ana Cabranes, who has participated in the event continuously since 2003, will present her 'Jade' collection which "is not just a color, it is a concept, a tribute to nature, authenticity and beauty that does not need ornaments to shine".
"Lace is a jewel of our tradition and every year finding new ways to integrate it into contemporary design is a creative and very special exercise. More than a challenge it is a motivation, it forces me to look at lace from other angles and reinterpret it without losing its essence", he explains.
