Ana Cabranes and José Matteos will make up the list of Great Firms in this edition of the Mostra do Encaixe

The Asturian, a regular at the event, is “excited once again to be able to be with my collection in an event that transcends the field of fashion: it is a way of understanding life”. Matteos, for her part, will present a bridal collection “with a very different texture thanks to the Camariñas lace”.

Ana Cabranes and José Matteos, two of the names most closely linked to the Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña, will also be part of this edition of the list of names that make up the list of Great Brands.

The Asturian, who will celebrate twenty years of uninterrupted attendance at the event, will present pieces that will follow the line “that I have been drawing inspiration from in recent years, but which evolves with the times and the way of understanding clothes”, agrees Cabranes.

“The priority is to give visibility to the application of lace in all those places that for me make up the whole and that grant it a special category, in a context in which Camariñana craftsmanship is beginning to be valued to a high degree outside our borders,” says the designer.

"It really is something wonderful for me, such expensive but incredible work at the same time and with such dedication, effort that it is often very complex to choose one lace or another."

For his part, José Matteos will bring to the capital of Lace “a bridal collection where the dresses will have very different textures thanks to the fabric made by the weavers”, highlighting that “the work of the Mostra and the City Council of Camariñas to maintain this event for more than 30 years is, without a doubt, a milestone”.
