The parade of Great Designers, together with the children of PequEncaixe, inaugurated the XXXIV Camariñas Lace Exhibition and the firms, of recognized prestige at a national and international level, demonstrated that lace has the ability to shine with its own light in contemporary fashion.
In this thirty-fourth edition, 10 firms participate: Ana Cabranes, Andion Clothing, Claudina Mata, Devota & Lomba, Franco Quintáns, Anamingo, Dolores Cortés, Esteban Freiría, Jose Matteos and OSE Couture.
The Asturian designer Ana Cabranes, which has participated in the event since 2003, presents 'Jade', "a tribute to nature and beauty that does not need ornaments to shine". The grenadine Claudine Mata presents "a bridal capsule collection in which it fits and transparencies will be the main protagonists".
The Galician brand Andion, founded by mother and daughter, returned to the Mostra and this time opted for a collection with “a lot of romanticism”. The firm ANAMINGO, based in A Coruña, presents "part of the collection that we have taken to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid.
DEVOTE&LOMBA presents the 'Hall' collection, in which he focused on "the shape, the cuts and the textures, sometimes the noise of patterns and colors does not allow us to see the details that make a garment unique". The Valencian designer Dolores Cortes could not miss the Mostra and presents its new collection of swimwear.
Franco Quintans returns to the Mostra catwalk, where it debuted 30 years ago, and "this year I present four looks where small and subtle lace tops take center stage". Esteban Freiria makes with her collection 'El Sastrecillo Valiente', a tribute to the work of all dressmakers and tailors.
Finally, José Matteos doubles his presence at the Mostra by presenting two brands: ÔSE Couture and Matteos Novias. 'Camariñas, tierra querida' is the collection by Matteos Novias and 'Renacer by ÔSE' is that by ÔSE Couture.
