El Pulpo premieres at the XXXIII Camariñas Lace Festival

For the renowned Galician brand, it is "a challenge to revisit the work we usually do, incorporating something with as much tradition as lace". "Lace is modernity, fashion, avant-garde... and, more and more, international fashion brands realize the value of having artisan work in their collections", they explain.

The Great Designers' parade of the XXXIII Camariñas Lace Fair of the Provincial Council of A Coruña will feature one of the most important fashion brands in the country: El Pulpo. The Galician brand will make its debut on the Camariñan catwalk ready to surprise.

The communication, marketing and sustainability director of El Pulpo, María Canal, explains that "for us it is a pride and an opportunity" to participate in the Mostra do Encaixe "because we have always committed to being linked to our origins and our roots". "When the opportunity arose we didn't hesitate, it's a challenge to turn the work we do by incorporating something so important, with so much tradition, as it fits".

"We feel a deep admiration for everything that has to do with lace", comments María Canal, who adds that "it can bring personality, sophistication to our garments and give them an unconventional touch". "We want to present something completely new, it's a unique opportunity for the public to see different clothes, clothes without gender", he says.

For El Pulpo "lace is tradition but it is also modernity, fashion, avant-garde... and, more and more, the big international fashion brands realize the value of having artisan work in their collections". "I think it's more fashionable than ever", he emphasizes.

"elPulpo is a brand linked to the male audience originally, so the incorporation of lace and its details to our garments will surprise the public even more, demonstrating that the fusion between innovation and trends with tradition and craftsmanship is a winning bet in the world of fashion," adds María Canale.
