The 'Sea of Piques' of the XXXIV Mostra do Encaixe Diputación de A Coruña attracts 23,390 people and shatters all records

This attendance figure is the highest since 2011. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday saw the highest numbers in 14 years. The busiest day was Friday, April 18, with 6,876 people.

A total of 23,390 people were drawn by the 'Sea of Piques' of the XXXIV Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña, this being the highest attendance figure achieved since 2011 and demonstrating that not even bad weather is capable of reducing the power of attraction that the main fashion event in Spain has during Easter.

Once again, Friday stands out above all other days, where 6,876 entered the venue, only surpassed by the figure registered on the same day in 2015. The second best day was Thursday, with 6,311 attendees.

Furthermore, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday saw the highest numbers in 14 years. On Wednesday, 1,459 people visited the Mostra and on Thursday, 6,311 people did the same.

The Mostra continues to strengthen itself as a dynamizer for tourism and the hospitality industry throughout Camariñas, but above all, it is the stands present there that benefit from the public that comes from all over Galicia, Spain, and different parts of the world that the event attracts.
