The Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña continues to expand its cultural offer. In this XXXIV edition, which will begin on Wednesday, April 16, it will feature six literary presentations. These are publications by Xesús Búa, Alfonso de Sas, Icía Varela and Xosé Manuel Varela, Xan Fernández, Ana García and Josefina Campaña.
The first of these presentations will be on Thursday, April 17, at 12:00 p.m. Photojournalist Xesús Búa will present 'Men and Women of Salt and Iron', a publication that describes the full workday of the percebeiros and percebeiras of Camariñas and Muxía, in the heart of the Costa da Morte.
On the same day at 12:30 pm, tambourine player Icía Varela and specialist Xosé Manuel Varela will present 'Cantareiras', a journey through the legacy of popular music and poetry, the tradition of tambourine players.
On Friday the 18th at 12 noon, Josefina Campaña will present her first book 'From artisan girl to woman'. Then, at 12:20 pm, Xan Fernández will present the guide 'Camariñas, a sea of lace', an event that will be presented by communicator Marcial Mouzo.
On Saturday 19, at 11:40 am, Alfonso de Sas will present a new edition of 'El Cementerio de los Ingleses'. Finally, on the same Saturday, at 12 noon, photojournalist Ana García will present her publication 'Mar de Ardora, Mar de Galicia', a compendium of beautiful images about the magic that marine bioluminescence can create.
In addition, on Saturday, after the morning parades, the Camariña Agueda Antelo will present the children of the municipal schools with her book 'A journey through space'.
