The firms Silvereira and Noelia Peña will be at ArtEncaixe at the XXX Mostra

Silvereira and Noelia Peña, two more opportunities to see the effect of Encaixe on craftsmanship. Both firms will participate in the ArtEncaixe catwalk in the thirty-sixth edition of the Mostra de Camariñas. Prior to the inauguration, a Plenary Meeting of the corporation will be held to invest Xosé Luis Blanco Campaña as the favorite son of the fishing town. The 'I Mostra do Encaixe Camariñas Chess Tournament' will also be held in this edition.

The Silvereira and Noelia Peña brands will be two more opportunities to check the effect of Lace on craftsmanship, since both brands will participate in the innovative ArtEncaixe catwalk at the XXX Mostra de Camariñas Deputación de A Coruña.

The first will bring to Camariñas an exclusive collection for this event, 'Madeiriñas', made up of several sets of jewelry that combine solid wood, silver and Camariñas Lace. For Silvereira, it is an "opportunity" to be able to participate in the thirty-sixth anniversary of the Mostra because "it highlights Galician craftsmanship". "Lace has always been a reference in this area and these are pieces that are passed down from generation to generation with pride and are always current", they point out. It is worth noting that the first Sivereira collection of jewelry in wood and silver was born at the Mostra do Encaixe held in 2010.

For her part, Noelia Peña will show in Camariñas her collection of jewelry inspired by medieval baroque, which are characterized by a large size and a predominance of the golden color. These pieces will mainly be necklaces, earrings and bags. For her it will be the first time she has participated in the Mostra and she is “tremendously happy. It is a challenge because I will use the Lace in my collection and I am looking forward to the day”, she admits.

This edition will also see the 'I Mostra do Encaixe Camariñas Chess Tournament' held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in the Ponte do Porto pavilion. Plenary to invest favorite son to Blanco Campaña

On October 8th at 4:00 p.m., an extraordinary plenary session of the Camariñas City Council will be held to nominate Xosé Luis Blanco Campaña as their favorite son. It will be before the official inauguration.
