Brave Little Tailor will be Esteban Freiría's tribute to the work of all dressmakers and tailors

The designer from Vigo, based in Malaga, uses recycled fabrics in a 90% that he combines with the Camariñas Lace, trying to have zero impact. “In this collection I wanted to highlight the men's tie, and with the Lace I did a little bit of everything; there are no limits,” says Freiría.

The designer from Vigo, Esteban Freiría, who lives in Malaga, is one of the people who has the most affection for Camariñas, a feeling that is mutual, in a communion that has existed for 11 years. For the XXXIV Camariñas Lace Fair, the Provincial Council of A Coruña will bring to the catwalk Brave little tailor, a tribute to the work of all dressmakers and tailors, from a small bishop to the employed patterns.

Freiría uses recycled fabrics in a 90%, which she combines with Lace to create unique pieces. “I use pieces that I have from other collections and combine them, to try to make the impact zero,” she says.

In this collection, the designer wanted to highlight the men's tie, and with Lace "I made classic elements and more modern and sophisticated pieces, since it has no limits", states Freiría, while saying that he feels tremendously loved "in a place where I am myself and where I have been presenting collections for more than a decade, which in addition to being very different each year from the previous ones, I also focus on investigating new possibilities for Lace, adapting it to the current context but always maintaining the essence".
