Oviedo is filled with lace as a prelude to the XXXI Camariñas Lace Exhibition

Around 250 people attended a fashion show at the Palacio de Congresos de Calatrava, where the collections of designers who participated in the last editions shone. The public also appreciated the creativity of the 12 collections of winners and finalists of the new designers' competition. "It was a very good experience, we think that the Asturian public was delighted with what they saw and we invited them to come to the Mostra during Easter", explains Encarna Liñeiro.

The Crystal Hall of the Calatrava Congress Palace, in Oviedo, welcomed with great anticipation the fashion show organized by the Camariñas City Council to promote the XXXI Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña.

Around 250 people gathered in the beautiful space of the Oviedo Congress Palace and were able to enjoy the catwalk scheduled for the occasion, in which the collections of different great designers who participated in the last editions shone, with special mention to the Asturian designer Ana Cabranes and her pret Porter and ceremonial pieces.

In addition, the public also appreciated the creativity and innovation that can be seen in the 12 collections of the winners and finalists of the contest of new designers who gave their creations to be able to carry out this catwalk: Rocío Molina and Alba Cobos with their collection 'Enxebre (2)', Rebeca Mercado with 'Déjame Encajar', Candela Rodríguez and Alba Otero with 'Carrera de Indias', Joaquín Ruíz with 'Suspiros flamencos', Jaione Ventura with 'Zeistmaschine', Uxía Rodríguez with 'Estímulos', Eli Conde with 'Victoria' and Iria Cameán with 'Un paseo sereno'. The models were provided by the Rassim's Model Agency.

At the end of the event, organized in collaboration with the Galician Association in Asturias, led by its president Manuel Fernández Quevedo, the renowned Asturian soprano delighted the attendees with her voice and even performed some of her songs in Galician.

The councilor of Encaixe, Encarna Liñeiro, highlighted that "it was a very good experience, we think that the Asturian public was delighted with what they saw and we invite them to come to Camariñas to enjoy the Mostra during Easter because what we were able to see here is only a small part of everything we offer."
