The XXXVI Mostra do Encaixe de Camariñas Provincial Council of A Coruña hosted today the first two literary presentations of the six that will be held during the event. Xesús Búa, Icía Varela and Xosé Manuel Varela were in charge of opening this literary program today, Thursday, April 17th.
The photojournalist Xesús Búa presented 'Men and Women of Salt and Iron', a publication that describes the full working day of the percebeiros and percebeiras of Camariñas and Muxía, in the heart of the Costa da Morte.
They were followed by tambourine player Icía Varela and specialist Xosé Manuel Varela with their publication 'Cantareiras', a journey through the legacy of popular music and poetry, the tradition of tambourine players.

Meanwhile, on Friday, April 18, at 12:00, it will be the turn of Josefina Campaña and her book 'From a craftswoman to a woman'. Then, at 12:20, Xan Fernández himself will present with the guide 'Camariñas, a sea of lace', an event presented by the communicator Marcial Mouzo.
On Saturday 19, at 11:40 am, Alfonso de Sas will present a new edition of 'El Cementerio de los Ingleses'. Finally, on the same Saturday, at 12 noon, photojournalist Ana García will present her publication 'Mar de Ardora, Mar de Galicia', a compendium of beautiful images about the magic that marine bioluminescence can create.
These literary presentations are part of a long and varied program that makes up the XXXIII edition of the Mostra do Encaixe and will fill Camariñas with activity for five days.
