Arrinca a XXXV Mostra do Encaixe de Camariñas Deputación da Coruña, unha edición que se celebrará desde hoxe, mércores 1 de abril, ao domingo 5 de abril e que co lema ‘Onde o fío se converte en arte’ busca destacar ao municipio como punto onde late con máis forza o corazón da artesanía en Galicia.
A alcaldesa de Camariñas, Sandra Insua; o delegado do Goberno, Pedro Blanco; a deputada provincial da comarca, Mónica Rodríguez; o director xeral de Comercio da Xunta de Galicia, Gabriel Alén; e o director da Axencia de Turismo de Galicia, Xosé Manuel Merelles, foron os encargados de cortar a cinta de encaixe que, simbolicamente, dá o pistoletazo de saída á Mostra.
Sandra Insua iniciou o seu discurso facendo referencia a que unha data tan sinalada como o trixésimo quinto aniversario do evento “abre as súas portas nun contexto global que non podemos nin debemos ignorar”. “Vivimos tempos convulsos, rodeados dunha inestabilidade internacional que, aínda que pareza lonxana, aféctanos nas nosas vidas e no noso día a día. A escalada de tensión e a guerra contra Irán enchen os telexornais de dor e incerteza. Por iso, desde este humilde pero orgulloso recuncho do Atlántico, hoxe quero aproveitar este altofalante para exclamar un claro, rotundo e necesario: NON Á GUERRA”, exclamou.

A rexedora tamén quixo facer un recoñecemento á xente do mar, que está a sufrir “unha época de inmensas dificultades para o sector. Os nosos mariñeiros viviron a angustia de non poder saír cos seus barcos á mar durante longos meses. E as nosas mariscadoras atópanse nunha loita titánica, pelexando para que a nosa ría volva dar os seus froitos, mentres sofren a inxustiza de quedar fóra das axudas anunciadas. Desde aquí, vaia para todas e todos eles o noso recoñecemento e o noso apoio incondicional. Sei de boa man que o palillo foi, é e será un sustento económico imprescindible para estas familias”.
“Porque o que fan as nosas palilleiras é arte, técnica e futuro. E ese futuro xa está dando grandes froitos a nivel industrial. Hoxe podo anunciarvos con inmensa satisfacción que o Concello leva un ano traballando, man a man coas nosas palilleiras, nunha gran colaboración cunha multinacional téxtil coñecida por todas e todos. Un fito que demostra que o encaixe de Camariñas é vangarda absoluta e un motor económico real. Pronto poderemos contar máis desta alianza que nos fai moi felices e que volve a situar a un produto tan artesán como o encaixe no mapa internacional”, anunciou.

Tamén recoñeceu que “nada disto sería posible sen o apoio constante da Deputación da Coruña, á que agradecemos o seu compromiso e confianza na nosa cultura ano tras ano”.
O delegado do Goberno, Pedro Blanco, comentou que “esta é unha cita que mellora ano a ano, consolidándose como un referente que leva a Camariñas cada vez máis lonxe” e fixo un recoñecemento de parte do “Goberno de España por todo canto estades a desenvolver aquí”.

Pola súa parte, Mónica Rodríguez, indicou que “a Mostra do Encaixe de Camariñas é o evento cultural de referencia en Galicia cada Semana Santa” e lembrou que “hai seis anos que quixemos unir o nome da Deputación ao evento, amosando o noso firme compromiso con este”.
Gabriel Alén destacou que “os e as artesáns que estades aquí, as palilleiras, desenvolvedes unha actividade que é cultura, tradición, moda e turismo. Sodes unhas extraordinarias embaixadoras de Galicia dentro e fóra das nosas fronteiras”.
Despois da pertinente visita aos diferentes postos e stands que se ubican nos dous pavillóns municipais acondicionados para a ocasión, as autoridades presenciarán a pasarela inaugural da Mostra co desfile do ‘Pequencaixe’ e o dos ‘Grandes Deseñadores’ no que as firmas participantes amosarán por primeira vez as coleccións que prepararon para a Mostra co encaixe como protagonista. Os desfiles inaugurais estarán amenizados pola música de Luar na Lubre.

XXXV Lace Exhibition
Durante os cinco días as firmas da categoría de ‘Grandes Deseñadores’, subiranse ás pasarelas da Mostra para amosar as súas creacións con encaixe: Ana Cabranes, Claudina Mata, Devota&Lomba, Innamoretto, José Perea, Andion Clothing, Dolores Cortés, El Pulpo, José Matteos, ôse Couture, Xoaquín Ruíz e Ondas do Mar.
The 'ArtEncaixe' parade, which continues to gain ground in the programming, will premiere on Thursday, April 2, starting at 12:45 p.m. The artisans will arrive from different parts of Galicia to demonstrate that lace is versatile and can be adapted to different materials: Estilo Aramar, Mariví Santos, O Rulo, Risco Estudio, Encaixa_T, Mascarada O Cansorriño, Ana Trasariz, Alfarería La Cacharrera, Lola Logaro, Tendataller Feituras – María Canedo, Zeltia ao Aire, Ene de Toba.
That same Thursday, April 2, the participants in the XXXII New Designers Competition in which a total of 4,500 euros in prizes will be distributed and a total of 34 young people who are taking their first steps in the world of fashion will participate. On Friday the 3rd at 8:40 pm, the meeting between great and new designers will be held and on Sunday the 5th, from 4:30 pm, the jury's decision will be announced.

Another novelty of this edition will be the show of live sewing with Andalusian designer José Perea. It can be seen on Thursday, April 2, from 12:45 pm in the morning parade block and the media personality José Perea, who is participating for the first time in the Great Designers' catwalk, will show his technique for making live costumes in record time.
Once again, international delegations will return to the Mostra. On Thursday the 2nd at 6:00 p.m., the first fashion show will take place. 'International lacemakers' delegations'. They will repeat on Friday 3 at 4:45 pm and Saturday 4 at 6:00 pm. Participants: Argentina (Cordoba and Buenos Aires), Bulgaria (Sofia), Slovakia (Krakovany), Spain (Arenis del Mar), Italy (Novedrate), Poland (Bobowa), Portugal (Peniche and Serra D'El Rei).
One of the most anticipated moments of the Festival are the fashion shows. 'Small box'. The girls and boys from the Municipal Schools create their own lace throughout the course to later design the dresses and parade in the Mostra. They become dressmakers, designers and models. They will be on Wednesday 1 at 6 pm, Thursday 2 at 12:45 pm, Saturday 4 at 12:30 pm and Sunday 5 at the closing ceremony from 7 pm.
The same thing happens in the parade of 'Senior Lacemakers of Camariñas' which will take place on Sunday the 20th at 7:00 p.m. during the closing ceremony of the event and in which residents of the municipality show the public the creations they have made throughout the year.

Luar na Lubre, Antía Muíño, Sebastián Allones Dans, Marta Doviro, Carmen Méndez, Ledicia Sola and other outstanding actions in the program
This year attendees will be able to enjoy the music of Luar na Lubre (Wednesday 1st at 6:00 p.m. during the inaugural parade of the Mostra); the concert of the young man from Camelle, Sebastián Allones Dans, winner of the talent contest 'Da rúa á lúa' of the TVG program 'Quen anda aí' (Saturday 4th at 12:30 p.m.) or the performance of 'Fíos de Salitre' by Mascarada O Cansorriño (Sunday 5th at 7 p.m.). The closing concert of the Festival (Sunday 5th at 7:30 pm) will be performed by Antía Muíño.
Furthermore, continuing the tradition of recent years, they will be able to laugh out loud with Marta Doviro, Carmen Méndez and Ledicia Sola and his monologue 'Without Restrictions' which will take place on Saturday, April 4, at 8:30 pm on the catwalk itself. On Thursday, April 2, at 8:30 pm there will be a theatrical performance by the Aantena company entitled 'Threads of Memory'. The event will be used for presentation of books and publications such as 'Punto de aranha' by Nerea Pallares (Thursday 2 at 12 noon); 'A princesa dourada' by Anxo Mouzo (Thursday 2 at 12:20 p.m.); 'Ángeles accusadores' by Diego Garrote (Friday 3 at 12:00 p.m.); 'Ardentía 1854' by María D.López-Menéndez Sánchez (Friday 3 at 12:20 p.m.); '1898 – El padre ausente', the last part of the trilogy of 'El Cementerio de los Ingleses' by Alfonso de Sas (Saturday 4 at 11:40 a.m.); and the presentation of 'A Costa da Morte, naturalmente única' by Xan Fernández Carrera and Antonio Fernández which will be conducted by Pepe Formoso (Saturday 4 at 12:00 p.m.).
The closing ceremony of the XXXV Camariñas Lace Exhibition will take place on Sunday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m.
'Gourmet among laces'
The City Council will repeat this year at the XXXV Camariñas Lace Fair of the Provincial Council of A Coruña the 'Gourmet among laces', a space dedicated to the food sector in which sales stands to the public can be installed.
This new area, which will also house the Mostra bar, will have a special environmental decoration and will have a space with tables and chairs so that the public attending the Mostra can taste the products they buy right there.
Throughout the exhibition there will also be gastronomic tastings of powder, by Frigoríficos de Camariñas (Friday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m.) and turbot, by Stolt Sea Farm (Saturday, April 4 at 2 p.m.).
