The parade of Great Designers, together with the children of PequEncaixe, inaugurated another year the XXXV Camariñas Lace Exhibition and the firms, of recognized prestige at a national and international level, demonstrated that lace has the ability to shine with its own light in contemporary fashion.
In this thirty-fourth edition, 12 firms participate: Ana Cabranes, Andion Clothing, Claudina Mata, Devota & Lomba, Innamoretto, El Pulpo, Dolores Cortés, José Perea, Xoaquín Ruíz, MATTEÔS Bridal, ÔSE Couture and the local firm Ondas do Mar.
The Asturian designer Ana Cabranes, which has participated in the event since 2003, presents a capsule collection that stands out for having a lot of light and a feeling of fusion of the lace with the tone, being all one. Joaquin Ruiz, which began by participating in the New Designers competition and went through the Emerging Brand catwalk to make the leap this year to the Great Designers, presents a collection “that revolves around the delicacy of details and the strength of the craftsman, where Andalusia meets Galicia”.
The Galician brand Andion, founded by mother and daughter, returned to the Mostra and this time is committed to “giving even more prominence to lace, focusing on the contemporary bride but always with a tradition-based basis in fabrics.” Josefina Campaña from Camariña and her firm Sea Waves, makes the leap this year to the Grandes Firmas catwalk from ArtEncaixe and presents “the mixture of ideas that comes out of my head every second, the mixture of lace and thread”.
The grenadine Claudine Mata presents a new collection of wedding dresses “in which I explore femininity from a contemporary point of view”. DEVOTE&LOMBA integrates “lace with hats where we link tradition and avant-garde”.
The Valencian designer Dolores Cortes could not miss the Mostra and presents its new swimwear collection for summer 2026, which is inspired by the nomadic Maasai culture "to fuse tradition and modernity with prints that reflect a deep tradition with nature.".
The Andalusian designer Jose Perea, one of the most media-friendly, bold and groundbreaking profiles on the current Spanish fashion scene, made her debut for the first time on the Galician catwalk with a capsule collection “with a lot of volume and elegant yet transparent dresses”.
The Galician firm TheOctopus returns after its success in 2024 and expands its designs with feminine proposals for its 'Teen' line with its capsule collection 'Encaixe de Amor'. The Asturian duo Innamoretto, formed by Ignacio Muñoz and Claudia González, debuts at the event fusing 'streetwear'; classic tailoring and leather with the tradition of the palilleras.
Finally, José Matteos doubles his presence at the Mostra once again this year by presenting two signatures: ÔSE Couture and MATTEÔS Bridal. 'Camariñas, tierra querida' is the MATTEÔS Bridal collection, aimed at brides looking for special pieces and valuing artisanal work; and 'Galicia Eterna', the conceptual counterpoint of ÔSE Couture, "a very strong proposal that connects with my roots".
