The Granada designer Claudina Mata will participate in the Great Designers parade of the XXX Camariñas Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coruña, thus reaching her fifth participation in the event.
Claudina Mata's firm has been experiencing exponential growth in recent years, which places it at the level of large commercial firms at a national level in the world of ceremonial and prêt-à-porter.
At the XXX Mostra do Encaixe he will present a collection inspired by a song by Carlos Cano, 'Habanera imposible', more specifically in the fragment that says: 'Tú eres la novia del aire, la de la sombra de plata, la del almendro, la que parece de nieve y por dentro es fuego'. Claudina Mata explains that "in the collection we will be able to see all that type of bride: the one from the air, with soft and loose fabrics, the one from the silver shade, very elegant, the one from the almond tree, with pink details, the one that looks like snow, because it is a winter bride, and the one that is fire inside, a very sexy bride".
For the Granada designer, Mostra is already an unmissable event on her calendar. "I don't know if it's the tradition, the place, the charm of the people, the affection they have for me as a designer and that I have for them, but the fact is that the Mostra is already part of me and my work team, and it will continue to be, as it fills me with pride to integrate lace into all my wedding dresses", he emphasizes.
'En Lá' will be present at ArtEncaixe
The craftswoman from Monforte, Pilar Rodríguez, will participate in the ArtEncaixe parade with the works of her shop 'En Lá', located in Monforte de Lemos. She is dedicated to making accessories from wool, silk or linen, manually using techniques such as pressed or felted wool, to which different dyeing and printing techniques are applied, such as botanical printing.
“Participating in the Mostra is something different for me than what I'm used to, as it's a fashion show I'll wear pieces with more creativity,” explains Pilar Rodríguez while appreciating the impact the event will have on her work, “giving it relevance in an area where I'm not and which will allow me to reach more people.”
