The catwalk of the XXXIII Camariñas Lace Fair once again focuses on Galician talent

The company Gubem Event, owned by Damián Álvarez from Vitoria-Gasteiz, will be in charge of coordinating the catwalk once again this year. “Many of the models start their first big catwalks at the Mostra and then stand out, like Yusnabis Ferrer, who came last year and is now in Milan,” explains Damián.

The catwalk of the XXXIII Camariñas Lace Show of the Provincial Council of A Coruña will continue to be in good hands. The company Gubem Event, owned by Damián Álvarez from Vigo, will be in charge of organizing and coordinating the shows for another year.

Damián explains that his philosophy is to “bet on the talent of Galician and regional models, who are the majority, although there are also those from other parts of the country”, a mission that “is diversifying with models who have very powerful profiles”. “The first year we brought models from the Canary Islands and Navarre who parade internationally”, he adds.

For some of these models, the Mostra is an unbeatable showcase in their careers. “Many start in Camariñas to do their first big catwalks and then stand out internationally,” explains Damián, pointing out the most recent case of “Yusnabis Ferrer, who came to parade at the Mostra last year and is now working in Milan.”
