The Anamingo brand will debut at the XXXIII Camariñas Lace Fair

The brand, based in A Coruña, will present a capsule collection called 'Ajuar', which highlights "the roots of Galicia and the secular legacy" of lace "in relation to a contemporary aesthetic". Anamingo's garments "are the fusion between a traditionally handcrafted production together with contemporary methodologies and techniques".

The Great Designers' Parade of the XXXIII Camariñas Lace Fair will feature a premiere. The Anamingo brand, based in A Coruña, will arrive in Camariñas this year with the aim of "emphasizing craftsmanship, one of the great values that our brand supports", as explained by its founders and creative directors Ana María Vázquez and Francisco Basteiro.

Ana and Francisco emphasize that "our main focus is on romanticizing stories, which always transports us to a naïve imagination, as can be seen in the color palette with which we work, or in the volumes and fabrics. "Our garments are the fusion between traditional artisanal production, in workshops in Galicia, together with contemporary methodologies and techniques that are already hallmarks in our collections, such as knitted garments, the creation of our own prints, or techniques such as die-cut with laser cutting", they emphasize.

"All our clothes are genderless, we believe that since fashion we have a communicative role in this aspect. In our case, our process is very natural because when we design we do it like someone who creates a space or an object", they say.

At the XXXIII Mostra do Encaixe he will present a capsule collection called 'Ajuar'. "Popularly, the trousseau was the set of objects that make up a home. Traditionally, it was mandatory that the making and especially the making of certain pieces of tableware were the work of the bride. The romanticization of these elements forms the basis of this small capsule that we will present in Camariñas. On the other hand, in this collection we value the roots of Galicia together with the craftsmanship and the secular legacy of this technique in relation to a contemporary aesthetic", they emphasize.

For them, "Camariñas lace gives our pieces an added value full of culture and tradition. Its quality and beauty reflect a technique of incalculable value, thus contributing to the main objective we have with this collection, the promotion of craftsmanship in contemporary garments.

The founders of the brand believe that their collection "may surprise" because "we wanted to leave the main use of this technique and show something different, but starting from the roots of the most purely traditional.
