Teresa Búa presents the project 'Mariscadoras con luna' at the Mostra in which she fuses lace with digital fashion

Designer Teresa Búa, winner in 2017 of the New Designers competition at the Camariñas Lace Exhibition, is present in this edition presenting her project 'Mariscadoras con luna' in which she merges the study and creation of digital fashion with the craftsmanship of Camariñas lace.

Teresa has a stand in Pavilion A of the Mostra, where she explains the process she carries out to create her pieces and where you can see the result. The project, which she carried out through a grant from the design modality of the Ayudas Injuve para la Creación Joven, highlights Galician craftsmanship and fuses it with digital fashion.

'Mariscadoras con luna' is a lingerie collection, composed of kimonos and silk dresses. All the garments are finished with Camariñas lace and the creative process is completely digital. The study and representation of the garments in 3D allowed Teresa Búa to reduce resources, creating a sustainable collection.

The project, which was carried out with the collaboration of the Camariñas City Council, through the Lace Exhibition department, will be exhibited at the Costume Museum in Madrid in early June.
