José Matteos is the first confirmed member of the Great Designers' parade at the Camariñas Lace Show, Provincial Council of A Coruña. The designer from A Coruña, a regular at the event in recent years, will double his presence in this edition by presenting two brands: ÔSE Couture and Matteos Novias.
The Camariñas catwalk was the place chosen by José Matteos to launch his new brand ÔSE Couture, a project that had been on hiatus for several years due to health reasons but that this 2025 resumed with more strength than ever.
"This project is born from my passion for conceptual and catwalk fashion, exploring fashion as an artistic expression without limits", comments the designer, explaining that "the name ÔSE comes from the French and means "dare", a message that reflects my vision, to challenge the conventional, break barriers and bet on innovation in each design, exploring a more avant-garde terrain, presenting unique proposals with collections that fuse art and fashion".
"Integrating lace into ÔSE couture dresses has been a challenge, as it requires a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, without losing the conceptual essence of the brand", he says.

'Reborn by ÔSE' is the name of the collection that will bring Camariñas under this brand, a collection in which "each garment is designed to offer a new perspective, a renaissance that challenges the limits of creativity and art. In "Renacer by ÔSE", rebirth is not just a concept, it is a transformative vision that gives life to each design". "In addition, this collection is a testimony of the last complicated years that I have gone through in terms of health, a reflection of strength, ability to overcome and personal evolution", he emphasizes.
On the other hand, it does not forget its most consolidated firm, Matteos Novias, focused exclusively on bridal fashion and with which it will present the collection 'Camariñas, tierra querida', "an immersive experience that will take the public to the heart of Camariñas as a town, I will fuse collection and music, where music will be an essential part of the parade, paying tribute to Camariñas and creating a unique narrative".
"Participating one more year in the Lace Show of Camariñas is an honor and a unique opportunity to celebrate the legacy of lace, a material that is a fundamental part of my inspiration. The Show is not only a space to teach the art and tradition of the area, but also an opportunity to pay tribute to the artisanal excellence that characterizes my work, fusing the tradition of lace with my collections," he says.
