Edith del Valle will once again amaze attendees at the XXXI Camariñas Lace Exhibition

The Compostela designer will bring a collection that "makes visible and invites a dialogue where we question the need to rewrite certain types of codes in terms of protocol and gender stereotypes". This will be his fourth participation and he says that "I wanted to go a step further, playing to deconstruct the idea of fit as we have conceived it".

Those attending the Great Designers' fashion shows at the XXXI Camariñas Lace Fair of the Provincial Council of A Coruña will once again be left speechless. Edith del Valle confirms her participation, for the fourth consecutive year, and as she has always done, she warns us that her collection will not leave anyone indifferent.

"Perhaps I can say that the most surprising thing about this collection is its meaning; make visible and invite to a dialogue where we question the need to rewrite certain types of codes in terms of protocol and gender stereotypes"

The designer from Compostela adds that "in this collection I wanted to go a step further, playing to deconstruct the idea of lace as we have conceived it, modifying some elements such as the volume and the manipulation of it" although it does not change the essence since "integrating lace in my pieces means giving the garment greater significance and quality".

The public of the Exhibition awaits Edith del Valle and she awaits the Exhibition: "for me it is not a simple event, it is a meeting point where each and every one of the people who make it up (designers and designers, craftsmen and artisans, volunteers, workers and workers, etc.) contribute the best of ourselves, in pursuit of a common feeling: love and devotion to our trade, to craftsmanship, our culture and tradition".

This will be the edition in which, after the pandemic, total normality is resumed in terms of the traditional date of the event and the absence of restrictions. "Given the circumstances, being able to live it in its true essence after all this time is something that, in a certain way, we all wish for," emphasizes Edith.
