Mar Barral repeats its participation in 'ArtEncaixe' with a tribute to the Viking Pilgrimage of Catoira

The artist, originally from Vilagarcía de Arousa, is a specialist in the Japanese technique of raku and also in ecoprinting, this being her third participation.

This year, Mar Barral will repeat her participation in the 'ArtEncaixe' catwalk at the Camariñas Lace Exhibition, Provincial Council of A Coruña, where she has already shown on several occasions that craftsmanship and fashion combine perfectly. 

Specialized in the technique of raku and ecoprint, is a pioneer in the application of botanical printing in ceramics. Originally from Vilagarcía de Arousa, she has been reinventing the discipline from her shop-workshop in Catoira for more than two decades.  

She claims herself as “a laboratory of ideas” in a third participation that represents “a new challenge and getting out of my comfort zone.” comfort”. “The Camariñas Lace brings elegance, delicacy and distinction to my pieces, and this year's collection will have as its theme the Viking pilgrimage of Catoira”.
