On this occasion, the participation of two firms that bet on accessories as central pieces is confirmed: the artisan Ana Trasariz and the brand Estilo Aramar, directed by Viviana Araujo.

For the vimiancesa Ana Trasariz, participating for the first time in the Mostra fashion shows means taking on a great responsibility as an artisan, but also a huge honor. “I am very excited because it is a tradition that is deeply rooted in the area and that is valued all over the world. So much so that major brands have wanted to incorporate it into their collections, so it is an honor to be able to include it in my designs,” she says.

The designer, who will once again have her own stand, has prepared a two-fold strategy for her presence in Camariñas. On the one hand, she will present an exclusive collection for the ArtEncaixe show consisting of shoulder bags, crossbody bags and handbags with a “more striking and catwalk-focused” design. On the other hand, she will offer for sale at her stand a much more functional line designed for everyday use, with tote bags and accessories for mobile phones or keys.

Trasariz's great technical challenge was to integrate the lace without the bag losing functionality, taking maximum care in the placement of the appliqués so that the thread "is not exposed to continuous friction or placed directly on a zipper.".

Her main message on the catwalk will be protest: "I would like to break a little with that idea that lace is something old or that you only see on your grandmother's tablecloth. The Mostra has been showing for years that there is a lot of talent and creativity, and lace is much more than that. Hopefully this collection will serve as inspiration for other people who are starting out in the world of fashion", she concludes.

The richness of the sea and the 'total looks' of Estilo Aramar

On the other hand, the designer Viviana Araujo returns to the ArtEncaixe catwalk for another year with her signature Estilo Aramar, committed to a comprehensive vision of fashion. This year she will not only present her usual and spectacular accessories, but will also accompany them with her own complete styles.

Its collection will be a display of elegance and variety, including proposals such as blouses and trousers combined with pamelas, dresses with headdresses, blouses with hats and elegant shawls. In addition, Estilo Aramar will also present proposals for men's fashion, with styles consisting of a jacket, belt and trousers.

Viviana Araujo's creative process stands out for its technical complexity, as each piece is made using different disciplines that end up adding up and integrating the lace tips of Camariñas. “We use some techniques using dyes, feather work and various techniques,” explains the designer.

All this meticulous artisanal and design work has a very clear common thread this year, linked to the territory: "the intention is to incorporate the lace with the richness of the sea of Camariñas", turning the catwalk into a visual tribute to the surroundings of the Costa da Morte.

A pasarela do ArtEncaixe da XXXV Mostra do Encaixe de Camariñas Deputación da Coruña continúa desvelando as propostas que encherán de creatividade e vangarda o pavillón Víctor Vigo esta Semana Santa.
