The event, which will be held from Wednesday 16 to Sunday 20 April, with the motto &#039;A sea of lace&#039; seeks to highlight the strong connection that exists in the town between the sea and lace, nature and tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The opening of the thirty-fourth edition of the Mostra will take place on Wednesday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m.,<\/strong> at which time the traditional meeting of lacemakers and lacemakers from the Costa da Morte will begin, in which students from municipal nursery schools will also participate. <strong>The opening ceremony with the authorities will be at 4:30 p.m. <\/strong>Then, from 6 pm, the first fashion shows will begin: the youngest of the &#039;PequEncaixe&#039; will be in charge of stepping on the catwalk for the first time, followed by the Great Designers. In between, <strong>A performance by Daughters of Cassandra will liven up the catwalk.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the five days the signatures of the category of <strong>&#039;Great Designers&#039;, <\/strong>The following will take to the catwalks of the Mostra to show their creations with lace: Ana Cabranes, Andion Clothing, Claudina Mata, Devota &amp; Lomba, Franco Quint\u00e1ns, Anamingo, Dolores Cort\u00e9s, Esteban Freir\u00eda, Jose Matteos and OSE Couture.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The &#039;ArtEncaixe&#039; parade,<\/strong> which continues to gain ground in the programming, will premiere on Thursday, April 17, at 12:45 p.m. The artisans will arrive from different parts of Galicia to demonstrate that lace is versatile and can be adapted to different materials: Alfarer\u00eda La Cacharrera, Lola Logaro, Ondas do Mar, O Rulo, Suso Calo, Encaixa_T, Michael P\u00e9rez, Ana Migu\u00e9ns, Estilo Aramar, Mariv\u00ed Santos Atelier, Risco Estudio, Tendataller Feituras \u2013 Mar\u00eda Canedo and Ene de Toba.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That same Thursday, April 17, the participants in the <strong>XXXI New Designers Competition<\/strong> in which a total of 4,500 euros in prizes will be distributed and a total of 41 young people who are taking their first steps in the world of fashion will participate. On Friday the 18th at 12:45 pm, the first parade of the<strong> &#039;International lacemakers&#039; delegations&#039;<\/strong>. They will repeat on Saturday the 19th at 6:00 p.m. Participants are Argentina (Buenos Aires), Bulgaria (Sofia), Hungary (Kiskunhalas), Italy (Novedrate and Trapani), Portugal (Peniche and Serra D&#039;El Rei), Poland (Bobowa) and Spain (Arenis del Mar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most anticipated moments of the Festival are the fashion shows. <strong>&#039;Small box&#039;<\/strong>. The girls and boys from the Municipal Schools create their own lace throughout the school year to later design the dresses and parade in the Show. They become lace makers, designers and models.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same thing happens in the parade of <strong>&#039;Senior Lacemakers of Camari\u00f1as&#039;<\/strong> which will take place on Sunday the 20th at 7:30 p.m. during the closing ceremony of the event and in which residents of the municipality show the public the creations they have made throughout the year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Daughters of Cassandra, Budi\u00f1o, Soledad Vidal, Roc\u00edo Cama\u00f1o, David Amor and other outstanding actions of the program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, attendees will be able to enjoy the music of the duo from Vigo <strong>Cassandra&#039;s Daughters <\/strong>(Wednesday 16th at 6:00 pm during the inaugural parade of the Mostra), from the concert &#039;Cantares Atl\u00e1nticos&#039; by the soprano <strong>Soledad Vidal and Aurelio Viribay<\/strong> (Thursday 17th at 8:15 p.m.); or the performance of <strong>Rocio Caama\u00f1o<\/strong> (Friday 18th at 4:45 p.m.). The closing concert of the Mostra will be performed this year by <strong>Pudding<\/strong> (Sunday 20th at 7:30 p.m.).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, continuing the tradition of recent years, they will be able to laugh out loud with <strong>David Love<\/strong> and his monologue &#039;Love is in the air&#039; which will take place on Saturday, April 19, at 8:30 p.m. on the catwalk itself. by Xes\u00fas B\u00faa (Thursday 17 at 12:00), &#039;Cantareiras&#039; by Ic\u00eda Varela and Xos\u00e9 Manuel Varela (Thursday 17 at 12:30), the book &#039;From a Craftswoman to a Woman&#039; by Josefina Campa\u00f1a (Friday 18 at 12:00), the guide &#039;Camari\u00f1as, a Sea of Lace&#039; by Xan Fern\u00e1ndez (Friday 18 at 12:20), the new edition of &#039;El Cementerio de los Ingleses&#039; by Alfonso de Sas (Saturday 19 at 11:40), and the book &#039;Mar de Ardora, Mar de Galicia&#039;
