The XXXIV Camari\u00f1as Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of Coru\u00f1a will mark the premiere of a new initiative, the 'Emerging Brand', a concept that aims to help emerging designers, who have participated in some edition of the New Designers competition and who continue to promote Camari\u00f1as lace through their work, to consolidate themselves as a brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organization's goal with this action is to inspire other designers and show them how important it is to value artisanal work, the Encaixe de Camari\u00f1as. "We want people who are starting their journey in the world of fashion to see that, even if they don't win an award, if they keep working and moving, they can create their own brand and we will continue to support them," explains the councilor of the Mostra, Encarna Li\u00f1eiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this edition, the 'Emerging Brand' will be that of Xaqu\u00edn Ru\u00edz, who has participated in the competition on several occasions, and who throughout the year promotes Camari\u00f1as lace at fairs throughout Europe through his collections. He will be in charge of opening the different shows of the New Designers competition, thus integrating himself into this parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
