This new category is a clear commitment to sustainability in crafts and fashion, in this case seeking to encourage the reuse of lace.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the show is to encourage designers to reinterpret an outdated collection by reusing both Camari\u00f1as fabrics and lace. They must show how they reinterpret and transform the garments into a new collection with a focus on reusing materials and reducing waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All those people who, whether or not they are fashion professionals, have participated in the Young Designers Competition of the Camari\u00f1as Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coru\u00f1a in any of its 29 editions will be able to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for submissions ends on January 15, 2024 at 00:00. The collections will be paraded on the catwalk of the XXXIII Camari\u00f1as Lace Exhibition of the Provincial Council of A Coru\u00f1a under the names of the designers on March 30 and 31, 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The councilor of Encaixe, Encarna Li\u00f1eiro, explains that &quot;what we seek is to demonstrate that lace is a quality craft that can be recycled without any problem into other garments, thus reducing the possible negative environmental impact.&quot;&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The aim is to encourage designers to reinterpret an outdated collection by reusing both fabrics and lace from Camari\u00f1as. \u201cWe want to demonstrate that lace is a quality craft that can be recycled into other garments,\u201d explains Encarna Li\u00f1eiro.
