The parade hall of the XXXII Camari\u00f1as Lace Festival of the Provincial Council of A Coru\u00f1a hosted today the first of three literary presentations that will be held during the event. Ainhoa Conde, an author from the Cear\u00e1 region, was in charge of opening this literary program today, Thursday, April 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ainhoa Conde performed a beautiful interpretation of her book 'Devotees of Destiny. Beyond the Villain' on the catwalk. It is a work of poetry that involves an internal reflection and feelings for Galicia and the ocean. The fragments, based almost entirely on the author's experiences, reflect 66 stories of love, discouragement, struggle, sacrifice, joy and longing. Conde, born in Cee, combines her work as a poet with that of a maritime safety inspector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ana de las Heras and Alfonso de Sas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, on Friday, April 7, at 12:00, it will be the turn of Ana de las Heras and her book 'Traves\u00edas del sentir'. In this volume, the writer offers a set of short stories full of humor, magic and transformation that narrate everyday life in a simple way thanks to focusing on the small details that make life great. Born in Madrid and living in Oleiros, De las Heras is an industrial engineer as well as an author.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, on Saturday 8 April, Alfonso de Sas will present 'El Cementerio de Los Ingleses'. Starting at 12:00, the author from Ourense will talk about a fictional book that is inspired by the shipwreck of the HMS Serpent off the coast of Camari\u00f1as in 1890, which is why the mythical cemetery of the same name was built. The work explores the relationship that arises as a result of the tragedy between the residents of the place and the members of the British Empire. De Sas, born in Ourense, studied Law and worked in International Trade before deciding, now retired, to publish his first work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These three literary presentations are part of a long and varied program that makes up the XXXII edition of the Mostra do Encaixe and will fill Camari\u00f1as with activity for five days.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
