{"id":3883,"date":"2022-09-16T15:26:08","date_gmt":"2022-09-16T15:26:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mostra.es\/?p=3883"},"modified":"2022-09-16T15:34:17","modified_gmt":"2022-09-16T15:34:17","slug":"lace-goldsmiths-mutual-collaboration-culture-tourism-crafts-collectives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostra.es\/en\/actualidade\/prensa\/encaixe-ourives-mutua-colaboracion-cultura-turismo-artesania-colectivos\/","title":{"rendered":"O Encaixe and os Ourives sign a mutual collaboration to spread the culture, tourism and craftsmanship of both groups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Encaixe de Camari\u00f1as and the Ourives de Santiago de Compostela today signed the mutual collaboration of both identity groups with the signing of an agreement aimed at the dissemination of culture, tourism and crafts of both localities, while at the same time aiming to boost the economy of both guilds and promote research in which the palilleras, on the one hand, and the jet and silversmiths, on the other, are the pillars on which this agreement is based.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The signing of the agreement took place this morning in the capital of Galicia, at the Pazo de Fonseca in Santiago de Compostela, between the mayor of Camari\u00f1as, Sandra Insua, and Arturo Ouro Hortas, president of the Association of Artisans and Merchants &#039;Ourives de Compostela&#039;, a non-profit entity that brings together the artisans of silversmiths and jet makers of Santiago de Compostela and has more than twelve hundred years of history in the city. There was a live demonstration of toothpick making by members of the Rendas and Puntillas Associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"625\" src=\"https:\/\/mostra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ourive-mostra-encaixe-2022-2-1024x625.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3885\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mostra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ourive-mostra-encaixe-2022-2-1024x625.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mostra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ourive-mostra-encaixe-2022-2-300x183.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mostra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ourive-mostra-encaixe-2022-2-768x468.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mostra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ourive-mostra-encaixe-2022-2-1536x937.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/mostra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ourive-mostra-encaixe-2022-2.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By offering unique products, it is intended to increase the tourist attraction that both Camari\u00f1as and Compostela already have, in addition to showing how the product is worked live. The generation of jobs is another basic point on which this agreement is based, in addition to attracting future artisans who seek to settle in either of the two locations, as a place of work and artistic expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn the City Council of Camari\u00f1as we are very aware of the importance of the craftsmanship of the toothpick, the toothpick holders and everything that surrounds the Encaixe.
