Galician designer Esteban Freir\u00eda, born in Vigo but based in Marbella where he has lived for more than two decades, will participate in the XXXI Camari\u00f1as Lace Exhibition, Provincial Council of A Coru\u00f1a. \u201cThe Exhibition is about coming home, to my own, to my old friends and some new ones,\u201d he highlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be his eighth participation in the Show, an event for which he has nothing but good words, as well as for the lace. "It fits and I have a fight, I want something so elegant and classic to have a new vision, to give it a new approach and to keep its identity", he explains, while confessing that "sometimes it's quite difficult".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the XXXI Mostra do Encaixe, he will present a collection entitled 'Ol\u00e9o y Arena', which he defines as an "inspiration from Picasso's paintings" and says that "it will have a staging very similar to Goya's". "You will see lace painted in oil, watercolor, pen... and other techniques used by Picasso, as well as games of volume and color," he confesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Esteban Freir\u00eda encourages you to go to the Mostra during Holy Week and take the opportunity to get to know Camari\u00f1as because "it's worth it just for the enclave". Regarding the chopstick event, he points out that "the public is loyal, the parades are very enjoyable and it is not burdensome for the visitor".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Galician designer, based in Marbella, will repeat at the Show for the eighth consecutive year.
