The Camari\u00f1as Lace Fair does not want to fall into a routine and every year seeks to reinvent itself but always without losing its essence. For this thirtieth edition of the event, the organization has devised a new parade: the 'ArtEncaixe', where artisans from different parts of Galicia will demonstrate that lace is versatile and can be adapted to different materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seven artisans have been confirmed to parade in this handicraft catwalk for the moment. Participation is not yet closed, so all those specialists who wish to do so can contact the Camari\u00f1as City Council to manage their inclusion in the 'ArtEncaixe'. Janet S. \u2013 JANET & SCHULZ (Vigo)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bridal and guest headpieces, fusing the style of the 1920s with the current one and trying to give a modern air to the use of materials that already have an antique look, such as tulle, feathers or lace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Julia de la Cal \u2013 La Parab\u00f3lica (The Porri\u00f1o)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A collection of accessories inspired by Galician maritime culture, designed by combining traditional elements of basketry, lace and weaving to create pieces adapted to contemporary fashion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Silvereira (Teo)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n They make wooden earrings. For the show, they will look to incorporate lace into earrings of different sizes and also into pendants or brooches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Viviana Ara\u00fajo \u2013 Aramar Style (Pontevedra)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Viviana Ara\u00fajo is multidisciplinary as she works on different unique products such as turbans for people undergoing chemotherapy, wedding headdresses, feather art, slate or felt accessories\u2026 to which she applies innovative techniques such as ice dyeing or botanical printing (dyeing with natural flowers and leaves). Her collection will include pieces such as coats, a corset with skirt, a pareo that comes with a bag and a turban\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Pilar Rodr\u00edguez \u2013 En La (Monforte de Lemos)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n He dedicates himself to making accessories from wool, silk or linen, manually using techniques such as pressed or manually felted wool to which different dyeing and printing techniques are applied, such as botanical printing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Charo L\u00f3pez Atelier (Vedra)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Charo L\u00f3pez has already participated in the Mostra in other years, making headpieces for designers such as Amaya Blanco, and will repeat this year in both shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ana Migu\u00eans (Vilagarc\u00eda de Arousa)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This will be the first time that Ana Migu\u00eans presents a collection on a catwalk, but it is not the first time that she has made pieces with Camari\u00f1as lace. In 2011 she began her work with pieces made in polymer clay related to Galician culture and already has several pieces inspired by Camari\u00f1as such as the necklaces 'Flor da Carami\u00f1a', 'Faro Vil\u00e1n' and 'Camari\u00f1as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For 'ArtEncaixe' she will bring four necklaces, each with different colors and applied lace, in which the designs of flowers or leaves predominate. The creation process will consist of preparing flowers in translucent clay to embroider on the lace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Noelia Pe\u00f1a Jewels (Sanxenxo)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Noelia makes designer jewelry, exclusive pieces in which she uses materials such as silver, copper or brass. At the Mostra she will present a sophisticated collection for the evening or for special events that will include large earrings, large necklaces and a bag. All in silver and ochre colors applied to the lace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sandra Rego \u2013 Amorote (Boiro)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sandra works with relief printing, also experimenting with other coloring techniques, such as 'tye dye', which she will apply in her creations along with lace for the collection she will present at the Exhibition.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This catwalk will have its own space in the program.
